Davenport Sports LLC was founded on a simple idea: that buying a firearm — for the field, for the safe, or for a son or daughter coming of age — should feel like dealing with a person, not a counter.
From a single shop in Humansville, Missouri, we now serve hunters, sportsmen, and serious collectors across all fifty states with quality firearms, ammunition, and optics. The address changed; the way we do business does not.

Charles Davenport
The right firearm in the right hands is a quiet thing — and the conversation that gets you there should be quiet too.
Charles Davenport brings more than eleven years of experience and millions in sales in the retail firearms industry. A veteran of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, trained sniper, and lifelong hunter, Charles built the business around the kind of dealer he would want to buy from himself — knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to treating first-time buyers with the same respect and attention as seasoned collectors.
His background combines military training, firearms expertise, and business education. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University, completed the Gunsmithing Career Diploma Program through Penn Foster Career School, and attended U.S. Army Ranger School, U.S. Army Sniper School, and U.S. Army Mountain Warfare Sniper School.
He maintains full ATF compliance and a documented record of professionalism and responsibility. Those values carry through into every part of the customer experience — from returned phone calls and honest appraisals to the patience required to answer questions customers may not even know to ask.
